Dedicated charity workers are opening a temporary Mind shop in Southend, while fire damage to the normal store is repaired.
The temporary shop, in Hamlet Court Road, will open for around three months.
This is the time workmen expect they'll need to repair the London Road store devastated by a blaze in August.
More than 40 firefighters wearing specialist breathing apparatus were called to bring the fire under control at the Westcliff shop.
Three people had to be evacuated from their homes while there was a risk of the blaze spreading.
