Two men killed in the same day on mid Essex roads have been named.
An 18-year-old who was killed in a car crash in Cressing has been identified as Joseph Wright, of Munro Road, Witham.
He was a passenger of a Renault Cilo car which left Ashes Road and rolled over on Wednesday night.
The driver, also an 18-year-old and from Silver End, has been released from hospital after receiving treatment for a broken wrist.
Two other passengers, both 18 and from Silver End, were detained in hospital for further treatment as one had facial injuries and the other had serious injuries.
Police are investigating the accident.
In Danbury, a mother has paid tribute to her son who died after his motorbike was in involved in a collision with a car in Chelmsford.
Simon Miller, 29, of Pedlars Path, was riding a red Kawasaki 600cc motorbike when it was in involved in a collision with a red Citroen just past the Army and Navy roundabout in the direction of Southend.
He had only lived in Danbury for a few weeks and worked as a security advisor at the London College of Printing.
His mother Jennifer said: "He recently moved back to live with me in Danbury to get away from the hazards of London."
He leaves behind his mother and father, Robert, and three sisters, Stephanie, 36, Hazel, 32, and Zoe, 19.
Stephanie said: "I would like to thank all the nurses at Broomfield Hospital and the officers at Chelmsford road policing unit for their support over the past few days."
Chelmsford road policing unit is appealing for anyone who may have seen the accident or the motorcyclist before the accident to contact then on 01245 452918.
