Although all five Thurrock teams stage home games tomorrow, there's no doubting where the biggest crowd will be.

For, with both Canvey and Billericay away in the competition, Southend playing tonight and West Ham on Sunday, Grays Athletic's FA Cup final qualifying round clash with Nationwide Conference Stevenage Borough is likely to prove a magnet to fans from all over Essex.

With Grays having made big improvements in recent weeks since ex-Canvey midfielder Mark Stimson took over as manager, there's a good chance of the Ryman Premier side overcoming their more illustrious foes at Grays Rec.

Stevenage have been suffering something of a torrid time and currently stand fifth from bottom in the Conference.

However, Grays should be warned that Stevenage's away form is far better than that displayed at home and, on Tuesday, they produced an outstanding display to beat lowly Nationwide League Division Three Swansea City in the LDV Vans Trophy at home.

That was the only win by a Conference team over League opposition in the LDV Vans on the night.

On the same evening, Grays were further climbing the table by disposing of Harrow Borough 4-0 away.

A continuation of the form displayed there could see Stimson's men back in the Cup's first round proper -- where they lost at Reading a couple of years back.
