Postwoman Stacey Smith today told how she was flung off her bicycle and left sitting on the floor to watch the van which hit her drive off.
The 20-year-old, of Edward Close, Billericay, is now facing possible surgery and permanent damage and wants to ask the driver why he did not stop.
Stacey had just finished her round in Radford Way, Billericay, when she was struck. She said: "This white Transit van hit the back of my wheel and threw me forward. I fell and landed on my knee.
