A brave woman is planning to sleep in the back of her car tonight to raise money for charity.
Instead of heading home from work, Sindy Carmichael-Brown, 45, a market researcher for Ford Motor Company, will head for her Ford Fusion.
Driving home a message - Sindy's night in her car will highlight the breast cancer charity Picture TERENCE BUNCH
Sindy's uncomfortable night, being held at the Ford Dunton Engineering Centre, in Laindon, will raise funds for the Breakthrough Breast Cancer charity.
Her bed for the night, the Fusion, has been painted pink, the official colour adopted by Breakthrough.
The charity is close to Sindy's heart, as she has lost a number of friends and family to cancer in recent years, including best friend Sheila Trower.
