Gloucester Park regular Stan Howard has been taking tremendous roach hauls at the venues' cockle bank, netting 20lb plus catches on two consecutive days.
Stan's first big catch came from a peg about a third of the way along the cockle bank. Using pole tactics and worm baits he included a single crucian and a tench in an otherwise all roach 30lb haul.
Next day Stan was back at Gloucester Park to take a 22lb catch of quality roach. Once again he fished the cockle bank, using pole tactics and worm baits.
Two further trips included a number of near pound roach amongst a mixed haul with crucians and tench.
Ken Johnson targeted the Gloucester Park chub, and ended up including 46 chub in a 60lb plus haul.
Ken fished the cockle bank where he started his day fishing for roach with a pole. When he tired of roach he switched to the quivertip to take a near 3lb chub almost immediately.
Terry Wilmot took his share of the roach when he fished the Gloucester Part cockle bank. Starting his day fishing a quivertip Terry quickly landed two carp and a tench.
When the bites dried up he switched to pole tactics and began taking quality roach immediately. A hectic session saw him finish with 21lb 8oz of roach, plus a further 14lb 6oz of carp and tench.
