Stuart Mann's run in the Benson and Hedges Snooker Championship at Mansfield proved to be short-lived.
He crashed out 5-1 to fellow Englishman Neil Selman when he opened his challenge in the second round last night.
Grays' pro Mann is based with the Regent, who now play out of the Essex Snooker Club at Benfleet.
Meanwhile, Basildon's Stuart Bingham, who plays out of the Executive Club in Leigh, now knows who he's up against when he starts his challenge on Friday.
For Michael Wild beat Tony Brown 5-1 last night at to earn a third round clash with Bingham on Friday.
