Tony Mowbray is staying philosophical about his chances of landing the Ipswich Town managers' job after last night's 2-2 draw with Burnley.
The caretaker-boss' claims for the position suffered a dent when his side leaked a last-gasp leveller at Portman Road.
Early goals from John McGreal and Darren Ambrose had looked enough to make it two wins from three games for Mowbray.
But substitute Dimi Papadopoulos headed a 90th-minute equaliser to the fury of the disillusioned Ipswich faithful.
Mowbray said: "If last night's game affects my future here then so be it. I understand that we're in the results business.
"For my part, I'm just trying to get these players back to the level they were at a year or so ago.
"I believe that if we achieve that, we'll start winning games again."
