Protesters fighting against plans to put up illuminated McDonald's restaurant signs in Hadleigh have organised a meeting to help get their message across.

Campaigners fear the proposed signs would damage the look of Hadleigh as they are out of character with the surrounding area.

They have arranged a meeting at the British Legion Hall in the Endway car park, Hadleigh, and have invited representatives from McDonald's and members of the council's planning committee to attend and listen to the concerns of people.

The meeting will take place at 7.30pm on Thursday and all members of the public are welcome.
