We're all set - the Scooby team of Julie, Mark, Bobby, Rianna, Daryl and dog Tess ready to have fun and test their map-reading skills. Picture: MAXINE CLARKE EQKDW7

Each team set off from the Vange Hill Drive community centre, in Vange, and, armed only with a compass and a list of compass bearings, they had to follow a route through the nature reserve.

The Scooby team of Julie, Mark, Bobby, Rianna and Daryl took their pooch Tess to join in the fun with other groups.

Teams then had to answer questions on the countryside and wildlife.Small prizes were given to the winning teams.
