A nightclub in difficulties was today closed once again as rent payments fell behind.
More than 1,000 youngsters were expected to pile into the aQua club in Grays tonight to see top pop band Blazing Squad.
But gig organiser Dean Lambert has had to reorganise the under-18s concert for the Circus Tavern in Purfleet.
Unable to let everybody know at short notice, Dean is laying on a free shuttle service between the venues.
Dean, a former manager at the club in Orsett Road, Grays, said: "The bailiffs went in and changed the locks. The club was behind with its rent and the landlord had had enough.
"It was shut all weekend and it will be shut next weekend and the weekend after - that's if it does reopen at all.
He said: "The move of venue has cost twice as much but I didn't want to let the kids down at half term."
