A woman was cut from her car and taken to hospital following a crash in Basildon.
The woman, believed to be in her 60s, was driving a new Skoda when she was in collision with a Fiesta in Luckyn Lane.
Police and fire crews attended the scene outside City Electrical Factors on the Pipps Hill industrial estate yesterday. Basildon station officer Colin Lidbury said: "She was complaining of pains."
