A hairdressing student from Braintree has been shortlisted for a top scholarship worth £5,000.
Rachel Tyler, 25, of Silks Way, Braintree, has been selected as one of four shortlisted students for the Pantene Pro-V Scholarship Award.
She will also get the chance to meet top celebrities at a star-studded ceremony.
If Miss Tyler, who is a student at J and E Training in Billericay, is successful, she will be presented with a bursary of £5,000 at this year's Pantene Pro-V Awards. being held at the Royal Albert Hall tomorro
A spokeswoman for the event said: "This glittering event attracts everyone who's anyone from the beauty industry."
