An emphatic home win for Chelmsford City, who climb up to 11th place in the Dr Martens Premier.
Three wins out of four were confirmed by Man of the Match performances from ex-league pro pairing Phil Gray and Austin Berkeley. The duo have added some much needed spirit to the City ranks this season, and after a slow start to life in the Premier, now look to have formed a formidable partnership.
City took the lead on 13 minutes when the lively Danny Slatter cut the ball across for Phil Gray to stab home with ease.
That lead was extended six minutes later. Again Slatter was the outlet from the flanks, spinning in a deflected cross that Berkeley expertly converted for the second.
Aside from a disallowed goal, visitors Moor Green rarely had much to worry City, and a long season looks in store for the Birmingham-based outfit.
It was 3-0 on 22 minutes as Slatter again worked space outside the box to feed Berkeley; the former Shrewsbury man again making no mistake from six yards.
And just to prove it could get worse for 'Green, nine minutes before the break Gray nodded the ball on for Gary Cross to finish with ease. A thunderous and totally dominant first-half giving way to a more even second period, by which time Paul Parker's men have comfortably wrapped up the points for their biggest win of the season.
