Children at a Colchester school have been doing their bit to help relieve poverty in Africa.
Pupils at North Primary School, off North Station Road, organised a week of activities to raise money for Food Aid.
In addition to a play, they held a harvest festival and sponsored walk and also sold biscuits.
Class efforts among the 280 three to 11-year-olds brought in more than £200.
