Basildon, Thurrockand Rochford rugby clubs spearhead the local challenge in tomorrow's latestround of cup matches.
The trio all feature in the Powergen Intermediate Cup second round -- and London Three North-east sides Basildon and Rochford both have tough tasks, even at home.
Basildon have the toughest challenge -- a game against Woodford, who have yet to be beaten in the division above the new towners.
But Rochford will also find it hard going against Chingford, who are among the early pacesetters in their own division.
Thurrock take on Stevenage Town from Herts/Middlesex One at home.
In the Powergen Junior Vase, Pegasus Palmerians visit Foots Cray and South Woodham Ferrers entertain Thurston.
