A martial arts' fan was jailed for two years for threatening his former business partner with a handgun and holding him prisoner.

David Kent, 35, of Fern Walk, Langdon Hills, held a gun to the head of Ken Holmes and threatened to shoot him.

The Southend Crown Court jury found Kent not guilty of blackmail but guilty of false imprisonment and possessing an imitation firearm with intent.
