Bryan Robson has emerged as the latest high-profile manager being linked with the vacant job at Ipswich Town.
The former Middlesbrough chief is thought to have applied for the post and be on a short-list being mulled over by Blues chairman David Sheepshanks.
Robson, who managed Ipswich striker Alun Armstrong during his time at the Riverside Stadium, could be joined in the running by Leicester boss Micky Adams.
The Foxes boss - under pressure because of the Midlanders' financial problems - has asked his chairman for permission to speak to Town.
Bradford boss Paul Jewell was also linked with the vacancy yesterday, joining the likes of Joe Royle, Ronnie Miller, Bruce Rioch and Mick Mills.
