Angry campaigners took to the streets armed with a huge mock-up of a McDonalds sign.

The aim was to warn people of the damaging affect the real ones will have when they are put up at a new restaurant in Hadleigh.

The protesters are opposing McDonalds plans to put up two large illuminated signs outside their proposed new restaurant in High Street, Hadleigh.

Campaigners feel the signs will be out of character and damage the look of the surrounding environment, especially as the grade one listed building, the St James the Less church, is directly opposite the new restaurant site.
