More than 200 staff at a Rayleigh energy supplier were today facing an uncertain future after their parent company cut off a £448million funding supply.
American-based TXU employs 1,600 people in the UK, including 200 at its centre in London Road, Rayleigh, and supplies power to 5.25 million domestic and business customers.
The division will now be sold or restructured.
