Billericay Town boss Gary Calder is tonight likely to find his side up against a striker who once found the net for him with tremendous regularity.
Paul Cobb was a huge favourite at Purfleet during Calder's time at Ship Lane and the ex-Leyton Orient pro then enjoyed success with Dagenham and Redbridge.
For the past two years he has been with Canvey, but has found first team opportunities limited for much of this season and has now joined Heybridge Swifts on a month's loan.
He is likely to make his debut for Swifts tonight when they come to New Lodge for a re-arranged Ryman Premier game.
Both teams will go into action boosted by good FA Cup third qualifying round successes on Saturday with Billericay having beaten fellow Premier side Braintree 4-0, while Swifts got through 1-0 at home to Herne Bay.
