Two cycling friends are preparing to head off down Mexico way!
Norman Starrs and Keith Hockley from Clacton are biking across the country to raise money for the National Deaf Children's Society next month.
The pair have been training hard and are still trying to raise the last bit on sponsorship to ensure they make the trip.
"Keith is almost there but I still need to raise about £800 of the £2,500 I need," said Mr Starrs."We are looking forward to it - especially now the hurricane season is over in Mexico."
It will be Mr Starrs' fourth charity fundraiser having pedalled through Isreal, from London to Paris and across the Himalayas.
For Mr Hockley, who runs Hockley Glass and Windows in Holland Road, it will be his first time.
The pair leave on November 28 and return on December 8.
The adventure will take them past mangrove swamps, busy cities, beautiful beaches and a site of the ancient Mayan civilisation
