Thurrock Scouts celebrated the Queen's golden jubilee in style with activities for all age groups on Sunday.

There were bouncy castles, games tents, handicrafts, performing arts, technology, cooking on open fires, shooting, abseiling, and lots of other interesting events put on by various Scout groups.
Over 450 youngsters and 120 adults enjoyed the day at Condovers in East Tilbury.
During the afternoon the new Scouting programme was officially launched in front of the County Commissioner.
It provides a training scheme based on young people enjoying themselves by "learning through doing" and taking responsibility for themselves and others in ways appropriate for their age and ability.
