A lovestruck Essex couple married at the scene of their romantic meetings - Newport Pagnell Services on the M1.
Happy couple - Susan and Chris on their wedding day at Newport Pagnell services on the M1 (24156-4)
And the ceremony at a hotel on the northbound side of the busy and noisy carriageway was a first as the hotel had to apply for a licence for the wedding to go ahead.
The 150 guests of bride Sue Smith, 34, and bridegroom Chris Hallet, 42, saw the couple take their vows before tucking into a special wedding breakfast.
Sue spent two years meeting up with Chris at the Newport Pagnell services because it was halfway between his home in Manchester and hers in Park Square East, Jaywick.
She had met her husband to be, who is a Robbie Williams impersonator, at one of his London gigs.
Mr Hallet said: "I used to be in Manchester and I live on motorways and it was convenient to meet at the motorway services - they are a part of my life."
The bridegroom said: "It was a tremendous day and it ran smoothly."
And Mrs Hallet's brother David Hazell, who is a musician, even played with his band for the occasion.
The couple now plan to live in Clacton with her two children, Carly, 13 who goes to Colbayns High School and Mitchell, ten who is a pupil at Frobisher Primary School.
But there are no plans for a honeymoon yet because of Mr Hallet's work commitments.
