Burnham Week starts this weekend, when yachtsmen and windsurfers will be competing for a host of cups, trophies and prizes.
Even those who do not have a boat can take part in Burnham Week on board a luxury yacht as part of an entertainment package supplied by Burnham Sailing.
Managing Director of Burnham Sailing, Ron Pratt said: "Many people have asked if there was anyway that they could take part in Burnham Week as they did not own a boat. We guarantee a fun day on the river."
The windsurfing event, Surf Burnham 2002, takes place between August 24 and 26, where competitors will be racing twice a day with the chance to win a prize every race.
The dates for the IRC racing are Squib Gold Cup August 24 to 27, The Houghton Cup and Airlie Trophy August 24, Town Cup and Commodores Cup on August 31.
The Regatta is divided into four principle modules: August 24 to August 31 the eight day regatta, August 24 to August 26 the Bank Holiday Regatta, August 27 to 30 the Mid-week regatta and August 31 the Town Cup Regatta.
