Families fighting a housing development on their doorstep are up in arms over yet another planning application.
Plans have already been lodged for 40 homes on the former woodyard site in Fairfax Drive, Westcliff.
Now another scheme for 19 flats and two shops on nearby empty land in London Road, between Northview Drive and Westcliff Park Drive, comes before Southend Council's planners tonight.
Officers are recommending both plans are approved.
The Residents Association of Westborough said people living at the London Road end of Northview Drive and Westcliff Park Drive will be badly affected by the flats and shops plan.
They claim delivery lorries and cars will only be able to access the area via a narrow alley at the back of the property.
