Collectors' cars, steam engines and a chance to bake bread were major attractions for crowds attending a rally at Walton Hall Museum in Linford, Stanford-le-Hope.
Museum owner Frank Wood, who opened up a Victorian bakery to let children have a go, said: "The response from the kids was marvellous. We will also be opening the bakery next weekend."

Great interest was shown, too, in the old cars and other vehicles on show, including Frank's collection of motor rollers, reckoned to be the biggest in Britain.
Sideshows and other stalls completed the day out.
