A south Essex pub sheltered 150 people after a man dug up a Second World War bomb in his garden.
Householders in Warley Hill, Brentwood, were shepherded to their local pub for safety after the device was found at lunchtime.
The rusting bomb, described by police as an explosive device, is 18in long, 45in in diameter and is cylindrically shaped.
