A leading Clacton store is to unveil its £300,000 new-look next week.
Marks and Spencer in Pier Avenue, is undergoing a major refit in a bid to provide a better shopping environment for customers.
At the top of the list of changes will be an improved food hall, which will include new equipment and a rearrangement of the menswear department.
There will also be upgraded lighting and new flooring to give a fresh and bright feel.
Jill Osborne, store manager, said it was a very exciting development for Marks and Spencer in Clacton.
To mark the event, the company is planning a bumper event of celebrations on Thursday, including a ribbon-cutting ceremony, competitions and prize give-aways.
