Aveley, East Thurrock and Tilbury all start their Ryman Division One North home campaigns this evening.
Rocks, having been thrashed 4-1 at Essex rivals Wivenhoe on Saturday, host a Slough Town outfit who have fallen through the Pyramid at remarkable speed having been a Nationwide Conference outfit not many years ago.
They started with a 1-1 home draw against Hornhurch at the weekend.
Tilbury also began with a heavy defeat, 3-0 at Thame United, and will hope for better things tonight when Barking and East Ham visit St Chads, having lost 2-1 at home to Marlow on Saturday.
As a Division Three side last term, Aveley might be regarded as having a particularly tough time this season in Division One North under the Ryman restructuring.
Tonight Aveley play at home to Wembley, who will be trying to bounce back from their first day 2-0 home setback against Berkhamsted.
