Showjumper Ricki Hill has hit the gold standard again with the GB team.
Two years ago he took the top medal at the European Under-18 Championships and the Benfleet rider has now added the under-21 title to his list of successes.
Ricki teamed up with Robert Whitaker, Matthew Broom and Jamie Wingrove to see off strong opposition from Germany and Holland in Copenhagan.
"It has been a good year for Ricki and he is shortly off to train with Albert Vaughan in Holland for three months," said his dad Rick.
"Albert was a silver medalist at the Sydney Olympics and can help Ricki as he prepares for the rest of the season."
Ricki is due to compete at Hickstead this week and has qualified for the Horse of the Year Show and Olympia at Christmas.
