Residents who live near the new 800-home development in Witham are fed up with the amount of traffic clogging up their road.
They are planning on putting together a petition to get it resolved.
Andra Chandle, who lives off Maltings Lane, like many residents in the area has had enough with the volume of traffic and the delays caused by the new Maltings Lane development.
Nearby homeowners are "frustrated" about the increase in the volume of traffic from sub-contractors as well as the amount of work vehicles parking along the road, making it difficult to pass through.
The petition will be passed to Braintree Council and Essex County Council.
