Mobile phone bosses have revealed plans to put up another mast in Runwell - just two weeks after erecting a deeply unpopular one half a mile away.
Orange disclosed plans to erect a 15-metre mast at Southlands Farm in the wake of a residents' campaign to stop the company putting up masts near their homes.
Earlier this year residents, fearing a health threat, failed to halt a mast going up on the Carter and Ward site in Runwell Road.
Orange, which says research has shown there are no dangers associated with the masts, has given 56 days' notice of its plans for Southlands.
