Police are warning people to be on the look-out for a batch of strong painkillers which were in a car stolen in Thurrock.

The packet of 60 dihydrocodeine painkillers was in a blue Corsa, which thieves stole from South Ockendon.

An Essex Police spokesman said: "If the tablets fall into the hands of young children or they are mixed with alcohol there could be a problem.

"If anyone comes across the tablets they should be taken to the nearest police station or chemist."

The pills are white and have BH30mg printed on them.
