Residents will have the chance to have their say when they fill out questionnaires asking for their views on how to stop speeding traffic in their village.
The idea to give the residents of Spring Road, St Osyth, questionnaires came after officials at Essex County Council produced a series of proposals designed to improve the situation.
The residents have also launched their own campaign calling for action before there is a serious accident.
St Osyth Parish Council discussed the proposals and outlined several traffic-calming measures they wanted to see progress as soon as possible.
Now the parish council is seeking the views of the residents on the matter.
