The landlord of a shopping centre needing a series of repairs just three years after opening is taking legal advice over who is to pay for the work.
Urgent repairs are to start next week at Westgate Shopping Park, in Southernhay, Basildon, after water began seeping through the roofs of a number of units.
Landlord Commercial Union Life Assurance feels the work should not be needed so soon at the £30million site.
