The big grin on Joe Keith's face said it all as he celebrated scoring in an incident-packed encounter at Prenton Park as Colchester drew 1-1 with Tranmere last night.
It was the former West Ham defender's inch-perfect second-half header which earned Steve Whitton's U's their richly-deserved point last night after the highly-rated Jason Koumas had shot the Birkenhead club into a first-half lead.
One of the smallest players on the pitch, Keith gleefully told the Evening Gazette : "I've only scored eight goals in my career and five of them have been from headers.
"This one was up there with the best."
