Police are anxious to trace the parents of a four-year-old boy called Oliver who was found alone in Westcliff today.
A police spokesman said: "A four-year old boy was found in Westborough Road, Westcliff, at 7.50am this morning and due to his young age was not able to say where he lived or where his parents are."
Oliver is described as white, wearing a blue shirt with red sleeves with the word GOAL written across the front. He is wearing blue and white stripy shorts and black trainers.
His parents or anyone that knows Oliver are asked to contact Southend Police on 01702 431212 quoting incident number 276.
