Southend's Andy Blueman confirmed his return from a broken limb by making his mark on the Bemsee Motorcycle Club championship at Snetterton.
The 24-year-old motorcyclist broke his leg in a horror crash two years ago and has slowly been rebuilding his confidence since then.
But he is back in the groove with a third-placed finish at the Norfolk circuit following a tremendous battle for the lead.
Andy had qualified 19th on the grid, but surged through the field to jostle for the lead with his rivals.
Andy's father, Andy Snr, sponsors his son's 250cc bike through his Bargain Bikes shop at Leigh on Sea, while Direct Tuning set up the bike.
Andy Jnr is next in action at Brands Hatch later this month and needs people to sponsor his bike. Call Andy Snr on 01702 474727 if you can help.
