Time was of the essence for children at a Colchester museum.
The hands-on children created their own versions of sundials, originally used in ancient Egypt, with modern materials.
About 50 youngsters a day turned up at Tymperleys Clock Museum to try their hand at making the timekeeper out of old CDs and other materials.
