A Brentwood mother and actress is putting on a charity show to raise money for cancer care in memory of her mum who was killed by the disease.
Natalie Cleverly, 39, of Rayleigh Road, Hutton, is organising Westenders, an all-singing, all-dancing compilation of West End musicals. It is show that she has stared in up and down the country.
And she is hoping to raise £2,000 from the performance at the Kenneth More Theatre in Ilford on October 13 with all the proceeds going to Breast Cancer Care.
Natalie was inspired to put the show after her mum, Lori, died after battling breast cancer for 12 years.
She died just two weeks and a half weeks before Natalie gave birth to her daughter, who she named after her mum.
Natalie said: "It was my mum who took me to my dancing classes as a little girl and supported me throughout my career as a dancer, singer and choreographer.
"I can't think of any better tribute to her than staging their production in her memory."
The entire company behind the show has agreed to waive their fee for this special night so that every penny raised goes to charity.
Tickets are £12.50 and £10 for pensioners and children, for more information call 020 8553 4466.
