A pizza delivery company will not deliver to a Basildon estate because it is concerned for the safety of its staff.
Pizza Hut refuses delivery to Craylands because there are "people intent on endangering their safety".
The company will not say what has happened in the area, but it does not want to be accused of postcode pre-judice.
It follows a similar move in Southend when the company banned its staff from the Woodgrange Drive estate.
A spokesman for Pizza Hut said: "The welfare of our staff is a top priority and following actions from a small number of people intent on endangering their safety, we took the decision not to deliver to this area."
