A professional photographer from Witham has been reunited with his first ever paying clients to celebrate his 21 years in the business.
David Islip's first paid job was taking Jeanette and Martin Walsh's wedding day pictures on August 2, 1981.
So to mark the milestone he met up with the couple for a champagne picnic to celebrate both their anniversaries.
Mr and Mrs Walsh moved to Somerset from Witham 11 years ago but have remained friends with Mr Islip ever since.
Mr Islip's passion for photography started as a hobby and has only recently turned into a full-time career, carrying out more than 1000 wedding jobs throughout his 21 years with over 70 weddings this year at venues all over the South East.
He said: "The business has changed tremendously. It's far more relaxed now and you don't do stiff poses like you used to."
