The parents of Siamese twins Ahmad and Muhammad bin Rosli were today "hopeful" about their children's future after a meeting with a London specialist.
The four-year-old twins were back at the Leigh home where they are being cared for today after meeting Professor Lewis Spitz at Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital.
The twins, flown over from Malaysia by the Leigh-based Humanitarian Aid Project for Eastern Europe backed by Southend company KeyMed, went to see if they could be separated.
However George Henry, whom with wife Lisa is a founder of the charity and has taken the family into their Leighview Drive home, was remaining tight lipped about the meeting.
He said: "We are all hopeful at the moment. We will not know the results until the professor calls us tomorrow."
The boys have three legs between them but a full set of major organs.
