Sunshine brought scores of families flocking to a fun day at Grays Beach Riverside Park to raise money for St Luke's Hospice.
Attractions included charity stalls and games, a teacup ride, a children's driving school and crazy golf.
The park's new water feature was up and running where children could take a cooling splash and its new cafe was open to serve visitors refreshments.
St Luke's in Nethermayne, Basildon, raised £383 at the event which will go towards helping with running costs at the hospice.
