Heybridge Swifts were humbled at home 7-1 last night by Dagenham and Redbridge.
Kevin Budge put the Swifts ahead before Danny Shipp got on the end of a Paul Bruce cross.
The away side doubled their advantage four minutes before the break. Steve Perkins picked out Mark Stein who made no mistake for 2-0.
A minute after the break Dagenham increased the lead when Danny Hazyelden's cross was converted by Steve McGavin.
Just after the hour mark Steve West, Danny Hill, and Junior McDougald all found the target.
With ten minutes to go Ross Johnson, released by Colchester United, scored on his debut.
Witham threw away a two-goal lead at Spa Road and had to settle for a 2-2 draw against a spirited Tilbury side.
