The football fanatics of Crowstone Preparatory School, Rochford, have just wrapped up a fine league and cup double in the Southend Small Schools competition.
Having already won the championship, they captured the Cup when they beat Shoebury's St George's 5-0 in the final.

Goals from Jack Cripps (2), Daniel Walden, Daniel Kirrage and Nicholas Cardosi gave Crowstone, who are coached by Canvey FC's former league star Glenn Pennyfather, their latest triumph.
