The eight-year-olds are the first girls ever to join the 1st Runwell cub scout group, and members are so impressed with the new recruits they want to sign up some more.
Girls have been welcomed into the cub scout movement for the past six years but Runwell cub leader Alan Lines said this was the first time girls had applied to join his group.
Mr Lines said: "I am hoping the the arrival of our new recruits will open things up and we will have more girls applying. We would love to hear from more girls who would like to join our pack and enjoy its activities."
