A major scheme has been unveiled to improve Walton's leisure complex.
It is proposed to build four rooms at the front of the Columbine Centre which can be rented out as either for meeting or lecture.
The cost of the extension programme is expected to be between £250,000 and £300,000.
But the man responsible for the on-going rejuvenation of the council-run complex, Mark Cossen, said no funds had yet been secured to meet the cost.
The application will be decided by Tendring Council
