Little egg-hunters went in search of the Easter Bunny - with the help of a few mathematical clues.
Children from Wix and Wrabness Primary School, in Colchester Road, spent the day solving mathematical problems to make a word which led to the Easter treasure.
Every child was given a Cadbury's egg donated by Asda and the Co-op for taking part in the competition, which was part of the Harwich community maths week.
Pupils from different year groups worked together in teams to solve the puzzles.
Deputy headteacher Lynne Smith said: "It was a really excellent day we had beautiful weather and were able to make full use of the school grounds. It was something everybody got involved with."
